Zumbini Central Valley: Meet Melanie

Tell us about yourself!: My name is Melanie, I live in Modesto and I’m a mom of two- a 4 year old daughter and a 10 month old son. I love spending time with friends, traveling with my family, and going on adventures!

Tell us about your business!: Zumbini is a music and movement class for children aged 5 years and under and their caregivers. I love teaching Zumbini because it allows me to bond with families in the community and to support children’s development while having FUN!

Tell us how it all started!: I was inspired to bring Zumbini to the Central Valley when my daughter was a baby. I wanted to take her to a music class and I was not able to find anything in our area. I came across Zumbini and it seemed like so much fun and it tied into my passions of working with children in occupational therapy. I started teaching in 2023 and I absolutely love it!

Who is your business for?: Zumbini is for children 5 years and younger and their caregivers. It is so much fun for families to bond together and explore music, movement, and instrument play. Connect with me on Instagram!
