Tell us about yourself!: I have lived in Modesto for 13 years and enjoy hiking, reading, and spending time with my family. Karen has been here for 7 years and enjoys working out, hosting parties, and spending time with her fiancé and their dog, Mochi.
Tell us about your business!: We are Family Medicine physicians who want to have more time with our patients and bring personalized and quality care to people in our community. We know how important primary care is and how improving access to a trusted physician can impact individuals, families, and entire communities. We are especially passionate about improving access and care for women in the Central Valley since women continue to have unmet health needs in the area.
Tell us how it all started!: Karen and I started meeting to discuss our dreams and a vision for a healthier Stanislaus county. Eventually, we knew we needed to get started offering patients a different model of care that would be better for patients and more sustainable for us as physicians. We heard about direct primary care and started making plans to open our clinic. Having more time with patients and more meaningful relationships with our patients was the goal.
Who is your business for?: We offer primary care and urgent care services, including weight management, sexual health and contraception, and evaluation and management of mental health concerns. Our clinic offers affordable memberships and our members have unlimited access to contact us physicians 24/7 as well as unlimited appointments to ensure all their health concerns are addressed and their health and wellness can be optimized.
