Tell us about yourself!: All three owners of Modesto Birth & Beyond have lived in the area for most of our lives. We are birth nerds! We love spending precious time with our families and fur babies!
Tell us about your business!: Modesto Birth & Beyond, LLC is a full-service birth and postpartum doula group practice serving families throughout the Central Valley, including Modesto, Oakdale, Turlock, Ripon, Escalon, Manteca, Tracy, Stockton, Lodi, and beyond.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to nurture growing families with professional, stabilizing support that fosters a positive birth experience and equips them to thrive in the postpartum journey and beyond.
Tell us how it all started!: Sheila & Brooke worked together with another doula group from 2017-2019. We launched MBB in January 2020 to better serve our local community. Corinne came along in 2022 and became a third owner in 2023. We are passionate about making a positive impact in their community. We are all DONA Certified Birth Doulas. Sheila and Brooke are also DONA Certified Postpartum Doulas and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educators, while Corinne is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
Who is your business for?: We love offering our local families nurturing care that blends evidence-based information with essential emotional and physical support during one of life’s most vulnerable and transformative experiences, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum! For any expectant parents, we also offer an online childbirth Ed course called “Made for Birth & Beyond!”
