Tell us a little bit about yourself and what inspired you to start your business!: Hi! My name is Carrisa and I’m the owner of Start to Finish, a professional organizing business based in Modesto. I’ve always been someone who naturally loves creating order and helping others feel more at peace in their spaces.

What inspired me to start my business was seeing firsthand how much stress and overwhelm clutter can create. Life gets busy—between work, family, and everything in between, things can pile up quickly. I wanted to create a service that helps people reset their spaces so their home feels supportive, functional, and calm again.

Helping someone walk into a room that once felt overwhelming and now feels peaceful and manageable is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Tell us about your business offerings, who your business is for, and why you're so passionate about serving this client base!: I offer professional organizing services that help clients transform cluttered or chaotic spaces into systems that are simple, functional, and easy to maintain. Some of my most common projects include kitchens, closets, garages, playrooms, offices, and storage spaces. I also help clients prepare for moves and unpack into new homes.

My business is especially focused on helping busy women and families who are juggling a lot and need support getting their spaces back under control. Many of my clients are entrepreneurs, professionals, or moms who feel like their home environment is competing with their time and energy.

I’m passionate about serving this community because I know how much our environment impacts how we feel and function. When your space works for you, it creates more clarity, less stress, and more time to focus on the things that really matter.

Tell us something exciting your business will be doing soon that we should know about!: One exciting thing coming up is expanding my partnerships with local professionals, including realtors and other service providers, to support clients during big life transitions like moving, downsizing, or preparing a home for sale.

My goal is to make these transitions smoother by helping clients declutter, organize, and set up systems in their homes so the process feels less overwhelming. I’m also continuing to grow my client base here in the Modesto area and look forward to helping more people create spaces that truly support their lifestyle.
